Able to plan, manage and evaluate Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) activities in outdoor settings to meet New Zealand curriculum objectives.

• Understanding EOTC events including transportation requirements
• Awareness of the characteristics of children and young people in an emergency situation
• Understanding supervision structures including roles and responsibilities
• First aid

EOTC qualification or higher level outdoor recreation qualifications.
